Production Welder
Pay: $17.00–$23.00/hour DOE

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Welder for a manufacturing facility in Shreveport, LA. This position is responsible for performing production welding on a variety of metal components using MIG, TIG, and laser welding processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, committed to producing high-quality welds, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform production welding using MIG, TIG, and laser welding equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and production drawings.
- Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to engineering specifications.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for various materials and production requirements.
- Perform grinding, finishing, and minor fitting as needed.
- Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous production welding experience is required.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding is required.
- Experience with laser welding is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings is required.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic are required.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
