Summary
Production Utility must be willing to work their scheduled shift including nights and weekends; additional overtime may be required.
Essential Duties / Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Support production lines by supplying with materials as needed
- Perform various sanitation and clean up duties to maintain work areas
- Stack and store packaging supplies in an orderly manner
- Participate in start-up, change over and shut down of operating equipment
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Ability to read and understand company documents and procedures
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned
- SHIFT: D Shift - TH, FRI & SAT and every other Wednesday 6 PM - 6 AM
Education / Experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Must be able to lift, move, push, pull 55 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
- Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends
- Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment
- Willing and able to adhere to all grooming requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment
Working Conditions:
- Hot, humid environment at times, as well as cold, wet conditions for up to 12 hour shift.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or higher.
Lift and carry up to 100 lbs. on an infrequent basis, including lifting at shoulder level or above.
Job Bid Requirements
- Should be a current, regular, full-time, or part-time employee.
- Must have no more than 4 points at the time of bid and when job begins.
- Should not have any active written warnings, final written warnings or on any last chance agreements.
- Been in your current position for at least six months and employed at SC Pet Solutions, LLC for at least six months.
- Must meet the job qualifications listed on this job posting.
