POSITION SUMMARY:
Determine training needs in accordance with OSHA’s regulations, ISO requirements and Cormetech’s training requirements and implement training programs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Determine organizations training needs through needs analysis and assessment.
- Identify outside sources for training as necessary.
- Organize and conduct training, orientation, and educational programs to meet organizational and skills development needs.
- Training activities may range from on-the-job skill training to supervisory/management development.
- Follow up on effectiveness of programs to access appropriateness of materials.
- Monitor and maintain training standards to ensure compliance with both State and Federal employment regulations and Cormetech policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation on personnel transactions such as training, team meetings, orientations, certifications, promotions and transfers.
- Administer and maintain Cormetech’s Pay for Performance Program.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or associate degree preferred and relevant work experience
- Acceptable knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ability to work on his/her own and with a team
- The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
- Working knowledge in the area of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) guidelines preferred
- Knowledge of adult learning theory
- Flexibility to provide training on all shifts is required
