Job Description

A reputable manufacturing company is seeking a dedicated Production Technician / Welder to join their team. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who take pride in precision work, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to expand their skills.

In this role, you will start by mastering our setup and grinding processes, with the company providing training to transition into welding and assembling high-quality building components.

Key Responsibilities

• Begin by setting up machinery and grinding materials to prepare them for production.

• Learn and perform high-quality welding tasks on 14- and 16-gauge materials after completing initial training.

• Assemble, install, and machine building components according to precise specifications.

• Utilize grinders, air power tools, and various hand tools to prepare, finish, and smooth materials.

• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Measure, cut, and fit parts using appropriate tools and fabrication techniques.

• Actively cross-train across multiple production areas to support team flexibility.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in operating machinery, fabrication, or a related manufacturing field.

• Background in installation, metal fabrication, or commercial construction is highly preferred.

• Willingness to learn welding, with a strong interest in developing advanced technical skills.

• Proficiency with grinders, air power tools, and ability to use measuring tools with high accuracy.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
