Location: Torrance, CA

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: $19/hr

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Production Technician for a growing automotive manufacturing and engineering environment. This opportunity is a temp to perm opportunity depending on performance. This individual will be responsible for operating production equipment, cutting materials, assembling mechanical components, performing quality inspections, and assisting with troubleshooting to ensure products are built to specification.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with manufacturing, assembly, mechanical, or production experience who enjoy hands-on work in a team-oriented setting.

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machinery following standard operating procedures.
• Cut Materials based on specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
• Assemble automotive safety testing products and mechanical components.
• Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and verbal work orders.
• Inspect products and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and troubleshoot production or assembly issues.
• Work closely with engineers, coordinators, and production team members to meet daily goals.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas while following all safety procedures.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Minimum Qualifications / Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly diagrams.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions carefully.
• Inventory control knowledge is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout shift.
• Must be able to lift 10+ lbs as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
