Production Technician

Location: East Providence, RI

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

In this role, you'll help operate production equipment, monitor material flow, perform quality checks, and keep production running safely and efficiently. Schedule Options

Option 1: Permanent Rotating Schedule

This position follows a rotating 12-hour schedule that alternates between day and overnight shifts.

Week 1

• Monday & Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 6:45 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: 6:00 PM - 6:45 AM
• 48-hour work week
• Double-time pay on Sundays

Week 2

• Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 6:00 PM - 6:45 AM
• 36-hour work week

Pay

• $22.00/hour for day shifts
• $25.00/hour for overnight shifts

Option 2: 90-Day Contract

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This temporary assignment is ideal for candidates looking for a traditional first-shift schedule while supporting the company's immediate production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment and conveyor systems
• Set up work areas and perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections
• Feed raw materials into the production process
• Monitor machine performance and identify basic mechanical issues
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials
• Complete production logs and inspection documentation
• Communicate effectively with forklift operators and production team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operating experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical work
• Willingness to learn and grow
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
