Job Overview:

We're partnering with our client, a manufacturing company specializing in high-precision machining, to find talented Production Operators.

Temp-to-Hire (after 6 months) | Two Rivers, WI | 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Overtime Available: Typically 10-15 hours per week

Production Operator – 2nd Shift Responsibilities:

  • Operate machining equipment to produce parts according to specified methods and procedures.
  • Execute quality checks on in-process parts using gauges and visual inspections.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, counts, and quality reports.
  • Follow job travelers, routings, and blueprints to ensure product specifications are met.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and handle materials safely throughout shifts.

Production Operator – 2nd Shift Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Physical capability to lift parts weighing up to 40 lbs repeatedly.
  • Reliable with strong attendance and work ethic.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Comfortable performing in-process inspections and reading blueprints or job travelers.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.

Must-haves

  • Comfortable with standing 8 hours and repetitive work

  • Can maintain counts, complete documentation, and follow job travelers/routings

  • Willing/able to perform in-process inspection (gauges + visual)

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior machining / operator experience (CNC or manual—client noted “various machines”)

  • Blueprint reading familiarity beyond basic

  • Experience reporting production/labor/scrap in a system (ERP/MRP or shop system)

  • Experience with deburr/clean/pack processes

Experience Wanted:

  • Machine Operation or assembly experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot an issue on a machine

  • Must have experience loading and unloading machines as well as deburring. 

  • Must be able to stand for a full 10-hour shift.
