A well-established precision machining company in the west suburbs is seeking a Machining Supervisor to lead shop floor operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can both run machines and lead a team in a high-quality manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and support a team of machinists on the shop floor
• Oversee daily production, scheduling, and workflow
• Jump in on machines as needed (mills or lathes)
• Troubleshoot machining and process issues
• Ensure quality standards and production targets are met
• Train and mentor team members

What They’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with CNC machining (milling and/or turning)
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a precision machining environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve machining processes
• Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection
• Leadership mindset with the ability to hold a team accountable

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $38-$45/hr (based on experience)
