We are currently seeking a highly strategic manufacturing Production Supervisor in our Mountain Grove, MO site who will be responsible for supervising the daily operations of your team such as staffing, quality control and schedule adherence. You will be responsible for leading your team to SUCCESS!

The schedule for this role is 8:00pm-8:00am on a 2-2-3 schedule and you must be able to train on the day shift.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Plan production schedules, ensure all material and equipment needed are available, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
  • Ensure the delivery of products on time by ensuring the production time is utilizing the most time - efficient processes with the least amount of downtime.
  • Build a team that is dedicated and committed to excellence, with open communication, where all team members have a voice.
  • You will bring your proven people leadership skills to coach, mentor and motivate your team while determining the best practices and implementing the practices on all shifts.
  • You will be a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground, engaging and involved leader to your team and need to lead by example and ensure to hit targets (in order of priority) in safety, quality, service, cost, and production.
  • You will need to have 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a lean manufacturing/production environment and have a proven track record of leading/training/coaching direct reports.
  • Lean, safety, and quality make up our culture! Daily Gemba walks, safety audits, and quality checks will become part of your routine and team meetings.
  • Use your organizational and multitasking skills to oversee production, monitor process control, and maintain documentation on all associates and equipment in the department.

What else can help you succeed in this role?

  • Technical and mechanical aptitude is a must! You will troubleshoot and assist with problems on the lines and select/install the correct tooling for changeovers on the lines.
  • You will need excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to handle multiple projects with multiple deadlines, demonstrating an ability to prioritize between what is urgent and what is important. Y
  • You will be results-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver information, whether good or bad. When goals are missed, we will look to you to understand why, and have suggestions for improvement.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to complete required daily and monthly reports on attendance, machine efficiency, scrap, process improvement, etc (ERP/SAP experience is a plus!)

“The compensation for this position will typically range from $62,000 - $101,000/yr . The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to jobrelated knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
