Job Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • You are the shift leader responsible for safely achieving the daily production objectives, ensuring that Associate safely produce quality products.
  • Prioritize the production schedule based on customer demand, equipment and staffing efficiency, material supplies, and business priorities. Coordinating between functional areas to provide on-time delivery.
  • You are a promotor of DBS tools and lead the ongoing drive for improvement of day-to-day team performance
  • Take initiative, make decisions within the limits of approval authority, and keep management informed of developments as they occur.
  • Identify gaps that need addressed to ensure our systems are effective.

The essential requirements for the job include:

  • Minimum education and experience requirements
    • High school degree with 8+ years experience. OR
    • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience. OR
    • Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Self-motivated with high sense of urgency and ability to motivate others with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated use of problem solving to drive organizational performance.
  • Ability to explain information, convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues while using tools such as personal computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft systems such as Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in leading continuous improvement, Six Sigma efforts and kaizen project team are desirable.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational agility.
