Job Description

Schedule : 2:30pm – 11:00pm

• Supervise and direct second shift production employees and temporary staff.

• Execute the daily production schedule established by first shift leadership.

• Ensure assigned production equipment operates safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.

• Assign work, monitor productivity, and coach employees to meet production, quality, and safety

expectations.

• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance support when necessary.

• Exercise independent judgment to resolve routine production, personnel, quality, and equipment issues.

Escalate matters to management only when employee safety, major equipment damage, building security,

or other significant events require immediate attention.

• Verify production documentation, inventory transactions, and shift reporting

• Safely operate forklifts to move raw materials, finished goods, and production supplies as needed

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Serve as the designated supervisor during emergencies by coordinating response efforts, employee evacuations, incident reporting, and communication with emergency responders when necessary.

• Secure the facility at the end of each shift by ensuring production areas are safe, employees have exited the

building, doors are secured, and alarms are properly activated

• Prepare a shift turnover report summarizing production results, downtime, quality concerns, staffing issues,

maintenance needs, and actions taken for first shift leadership.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
