Production Supervisor

As a CPI Production Supervisor, you will efficiently coordinate the work of the production team members involved in the electronic operations.

As a CPI Production Supervisor, you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the world’s digital technology. Day to day, you will be responsible for the planning and organizing of the workflow to ensure production runs smoothly. This high level of efficiency includes, but limited to  problem-solving, holding employees accountable, and meeting safety, quality, and productivity expectations.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Optimize production build plan to meet order commit dates.
  • Oversees process and material flows, space management that will maximize utilization of space designated for assigned operation.
  • Sets daily priorities of production staff in assigned area.
  • Follows and enforces work rules and process documentations.
  • Oversees employee training.
  • Monitors quality of incoming raw material and finished product.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.

  • Able to read and understand blueprints and engineering specification.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
  • Capable of using measuring devices to perform product inspection.
  • Demonstrated coaching and/or mentoring leadership style.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues with little supervision.
  • Self-motivated but comfortable seeking direction when appropriate.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Customer Service, Operations Management and Engineering organizations.

 

Physical/Environmental Requirements

  • Available and willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as production demand dictates.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, carrying, stooping, and crouching
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
