Production Supervisor - Assembly

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of Assembly department and personnel
• Direct assembly shop resources and operations
• Daily planning responsibilities to meet customer ship dates
• Time and attendance verification for shop team
• Requisition supplies as needed
• Evaluate need for capital investments, develop payback analysis and submit necessary forms
• Notify maintenance of issues and submit work orders
• Perform daily operations in ERP system
• Ability to evaluate various forms of data, systems and processes in order to make sound decisions
• Read blueprints and understand process routings, workflows and scheduling
• Develop fixturing
• Effectively manage employee performance and disciplinary actions
• Develop actions to improve productivity and cycle times
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an industrial environment; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Associate’s Degree in an Engineering or related field preferred
• Ability to read & interpret shop drawings
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong mechanical aptitude
