Description
The 3rd shift Production Supervisor will manage plant production, warehouse, maintenance personnel to ensure customer requirements and plant schedules are met efficiently. This is a full-time 3rd shift position, exempt position that reports to the Operations Manager.
Essential Duties
- Direct the work force performance through proper administration of the Company policies. Discipline directly where necessary to maintain control of operations.
- Assist in control and regulation of packaging operations by maintaining standard operating procedures, making prescribed changes and adjustments when necessary, and maintaining daily productions rates, yield, quality, and line efficiencies.
- Administer safety/health programs to meet current OSHA and Mrs. Clark’s Requirements
- Obtain and maintain line efficiencies through the supervision and administration of company established Standard Operating Procedures.
- Train building personnel in proper operation techniques.
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Managers / Director of Operations
Requirements
Minimum Experience
Total Yrs. of Experience: Three years supervisory experience in food manufacturing or related industry.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8pm-6am (8 Hour Shifts)
Equipment/Software Skills
Must be PC literate

Titles of direct reports: Line Operators, Mixers, General Labor
Directly supervises 20 employees
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Physical: Must have ability to sit and walk for extended periods of time on a daily basis.
Sensory: Must utilize all senses as normal.
Mental/Reasoning: Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to accommodate a quick paced environment (a quick thinker)
