Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on, driven, and team-oriented 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead operations within our manufacturing facility. In this critical role, you'll ensure production runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently—delivering high-quality products while fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
You’ll oversee workflow, coach and develop your team, ensure quality control, and drive daily execution aligned with safety and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Set clear daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and communicate them to the team
- Organize workflow by preparing schedules and assigning responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop production employees to perform at their best
- Ensure safe operation of machinery and adherence to all safety protocols
- Perform 1st Article QC checks to ensure products meet ticket specifications
- Monitor performance and submit timely reports on progress and outcomes
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Train new team members on safety procedures and equipment usage
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Support maintenance planning and equipment uptime
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Operations, and Planning
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a related manufacturing leadership role
- Experience working with a variety of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self-starter with a hands-on, results-oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High school diploma or GED required; a technical or engineering degree is a plus
