Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor production schedules and workflow to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and improve processes.
  • Implement training programs for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years experience in a leadership role with direct reports.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing setting.

  • Associate degree in Supervision or Management is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

  • Proven leadership skills and capabilities.

  • Specific Skills, Licensure and Certifications

    • Strong attention to detail, active listening, and communication skills – including written & interpersonal.

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and solution focused mindset.

    • Positive attitude and desire to build a productive work environment for staff.

    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word) and able to learn Company specific systems.

    • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.

    • Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees/teams of the organization.
