SCHEDULES AVAILABLE:
Day shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Second Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering; or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 3-6 years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- 1+ years of lean manufacturing
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with computer operations (MS Word & Excel, and Outlook) or other data tracking systems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Oversee production workers, ensure safety and schedule adherence, provide training, guidance and coaching in a consistent and constructive manner.
- Provide feedback and conduct performance reviews.
- Lead improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, analyze production metrics, and develop action plans to enhance processes.
- Streamline workflows through value stream mapping, implement best practices, and monitor process changes for effectiveness.
- Ensure production meets quality standards, manage quality control measures, and collaborate on resolving quality issues.
- Maintain safety standards, conduct audits, and keep records of safety practices and incidents.
- Prepare performance reports, document improvements and procedures, and present them to management.
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues and align production goals with organizational objectives.
- Provide input in the development of strategic manufacturing plans to achieve company objectives.
- Prioritize and manage work assignments to ensure company, customer, and department goals are achieved.
- Ensure and manage critical performance indicators to meet or exceed established targets (safety, quality, delivery, and cost).
- Performs other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires lifting (up to 50lbs unassisted), walking and standing for extended periods of time. The ability to reach, lift, bend, crouch, and climb.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a warehouse/production environment. Some administrative tasks will require time spent in an office setting.
