Job Overview:

Based in our Sherman, Texas location, you will provide supervision to production teams while maintaining safe, quality conscious, and cost-efficient operation. 

 

Work Schedule:

  • Shift Option 1: Monday through Friday 1st Shift- 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Shift Option 2: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Supervising, training, evaluating, and scheduling work for employees and contingent workers.
  • Developing and detailing work procedures and instructions.
  • Investigating Service Requests and setting corrective actions.
  • Driving and be accountable for meeting timely delivery of customer orders, inventory accuracy to meet plant goals, and continuous improvement of cost and lead-time reduction.
  • Serving as an interface between employees and staff and holding regular toolbox meetings to discuss performance against targets, problems, and the day's work schedule.

You build a structured game plan. You balance planning with actions. You seek ways to improve processes, from small tweaks to complete reengineering. You establish clear responsibilities and processes for supervising work and measuring results. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small, and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels.

 

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Three (3) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Two (2) years of functional supervisory/leadership experience.
  • Five (5) years of functional and/or operational experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven understanding of applicable products and processes in a value stream.
  • Lean Manufacturing training / experience.
