Production Supervisor (3rd Shift)

Full-Time, Direct-Hire

3rd Shift | 100% Onsite

$55,000 – $70,000 base salary range + full benefits

Overview:

We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Shelbyville, TN that’s looking to hire a hands-on Production Supervisor for their 3rd shift operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of 20–30 production associates, ensuring efficient production processes, driving improvements, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of 20–30 associates on the night shift, promoting accountability and engagement

• Be a hands-on, on-the-floor leader—actively present in the production environment to coach, support, and troubleshoot in real-time

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to production efficiency, safety, and quality

• Monitor and analyze production data and KPIs to make data-driven decisions and improvements

• Conduct performance reviews, manage scheduling, time tracking, and vacation planning for team members

• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards

• Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and high performance

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of supervisory experience **OR **Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of supervisory experience

• Proven experience overseeing a team of 20–30 employees in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in performance management, scheduling, and team development

• Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, data-driven mindset

• Must be comfortable working 3rd shift and in an onsite, manufacturing environment

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)

• Background in other high-paced industries such as distribution, warehousing, retail, or food service management will be considered
