Job Overview:

As a Production Supervisor at MacLean-Fogg, you’ll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day production activities to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met. You’ll coordinate work, assign tasks, and monitor performance across your assigned area or shift. Job Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time/Salaried (Exempt)
  • **Pay Range: **Competitive (provided during interview)
  • **Work Location: **Onsite – Saegertown, Pennsylvania
  • **Shift: **2nd (3 PM - 11 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise production team members, ensuring safe and efficient operation of machinery, assembly of products, quality checks, and packaging
  • Assign work tasks, monitor output, and ensure production goals for quantity and quality are met
  • Coordinate work across shifts and departments to maintain smooth production flow
  • Identify equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams to address repairs or preventive maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels in your area to ensure materials are available for production without causing delays
  • Collaborate with production planning and materials teams to align staffing and supplies with schedules
  • Support quality control checks and work with quality assurance to ensure product standards are met
  • Promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment by enforcing 5S practices
  • Complete shift reports, inventory logs, safety checks, and other production documentation accurately and on time
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to support operational efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or coordination role

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push/pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
