JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Supervisor provides daily leadership by overseeing manufacturing operations, ensuring timely production, adherence to quality standards, and maintaining a safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyze job orders, production capabilities, and estimated process times to determine the daily production schedule. Collaborate with the Scheduling Department to align on daily work assignments.
- Lead the daily department stand up meetings to communicate the schedule, set goals, and motivate the team.
- Drive weekly output goals by monitoring schedule attainment, billable hours, on-time delivery, and operational performance adjusting the schedule and managing manpower as needed (e.g., Operation 1000 and Operation 4000).
- Track and report on company performance metrics, including minimum billable hours, on-time delivery, schedule attainment and monthly and quarterly sales.
- Ensure all team members are properly trained and up to date on company policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Manage cross-training initiatives to create a flexible and versatile workforce.
- Coach team members by providing real-time feedback and support to drive continuous performance improvement.
- Partner with the Quality Department to identify and resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with company and customer standards.
- Conduct audits and inspections to maintain adherence to internal and external quality standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing operations management, or related field and at least one year of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
- Experience with production scheduling, workforce planning, and performance tracking.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
- Proficient in interpreting job orders and using production planning tools or ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
