As Manufacturing Production Supervisor, you will lead a team, direct production schedules and processes, and use your manufacturing expertise to ensure that effective and efficient production flow is maintained. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, high level of mechanical proficiency, and a passion for driving efficiency and quality.
Day shift Monday - Friday
Your role:
- Establish and adjust work assignments to meet production schedules
- Evaluate and manage capacity constraints and facilitate plans to proactively meet demand requirements
- Compile and analyze production performance records and data
- Analyze and resolve quality issues, excessive scrap, assist team in solving quality problems and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve issues
- Maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coach, motivate, counsel and provide feedback to employees
- Lead team in driving continuous improvement efforts in Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Lead Time
- Monitor use and care of equipment and tools to ensure safe operation and maintenance
What you need to succeed:
Problem-solving abilities: Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
Technical knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing-specific tools, best-practices, and equipment
Attention to detail: Precision in mechanical tasks and technical documentation
Analytical skills: Capability to analyze data and improve production equipment and processes
Communication skills: Effective communication of technical information to team members and stakeholders
Safety awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in manufacturing environments
Team collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team to achieve goals
What you bring:- Minimum 5 years experience working in manufacturing
- High level of mechanical proficiency
- Supervisory experience; successfully leading and motivating employees
- Excellent decision-making abilities
- Experience with precious metals a big plus
- Highly proficient MS Excel skills and ability to analyze data
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
