Job Overview:

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Ranson, WV factory.

This position will work from 6PM-6AM on a 2-2-3 rotation.

Are you ready to lead a shift production team as part of a new and exciting start-up operation? Our manufacturing shift supervisors perform a variety of tasks from developing their team members into high-quality and efficient workers, to serving as the key connection between the production line and the factory leadership team. The Leadership team will be counting on you to uphold ROCKWOOL’s stone wool product standards while enforcing health and safety measures at our Ranson, West Virginia facility. What you bring:

  • Technical Degree/Certification or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with automated equipment in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven leadership and people development experience
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Ability to pay attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Basic computer knowledge and skills

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure a safe working environment and create/support a culture of safety first with a goal of “zero safety incidents”
  • Analyze and document failures and inefficiencies in the supply chain to improve overall supply chain effectiveness
  • Uphold our “zero environmental” incident approach
  • Provide leadership to the production team to drive productivity and product quality to support ROCKWOOL’s high-quality standards and on-time production plans
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Deliver budgeted volumes while improving cost efficiencies through systematic loss elimination
  • Hire, build and develop a high performing team
  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement through ROCKWOOL Operational Excellence (ROPEX)
