Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Quakertown, PA. In this role, you will lead our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality in our production processes. Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Implement and maintain Manufacturing Instruction (MI) to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Create and manage production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
• Oversee machine setups for production runs, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines, including 2-4 axis and 5+ axis CNC lathes, to resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Software and ERP Software for efficient inventory and production tracking.
• Conduct regular inspections using measurement gauges to maintain product quality.
• Operate forklifts and band saws as needed to support production activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance machine performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management skills in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with CNC machining, specifically with brands such as Nakamura, Star, Tornos, and Eurotech.
• Strong supervisory experience with a track record of managing production teams effectively.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in a production setting.
• Experience in scheduling and planning production activities.
• Proficient in machine setups for CNC lathes and troubleshooting CNC machines.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software and ERP Software.
• Ability to use measurement gauges accurately for quality control.
• Experience operating forklifts and band saws safely and efficiently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
