Job Description

Overview:A North American manufacturer specializing in high-quality pots, planters, and site furnishings is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee evening manufacturing operations at their Port Orchard facility. This role is responsible for leading production teams, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and achieving production goals efficiently. The supervisor will play a key role in coaching employees, monitoring workflows, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Supervise production employees and team leads during the 2nd shift
• Ensure daily production schedules are met and maintained
• Promote and enforce workplace safety, efficiency, and product quality standards
• Coordinate workflow and monitor production processes to maximize output
• Train, coach, and support employees to enhance performance and engagement
• Maintain production reports and performance metrics
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
• Collaborate with department managers and planning teams

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with production scheduling and workflow management
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Hours/Shift:

Monday-Friday from 1:30pm-10:00pm

Pay:

$35-$38/hour DOE
