Natureplex is a privately held company that was first started in 2001 and has been growing exponentially each year. We offer our own control brand but are also very strong in private label and contract packaging of enemas, feminine hygiene products, over-the-counter medications, and personal care products. We have two production facilities in Olive Branch, MS and Memphis, TN. We currently have 2 openings for Production Supervisor at our Olive Branch, MS location.  The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Essential Functions

  • Directly responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment, staff, and processes on a production floor.
  • Serve as the first line of management of a production team with a primary duty to keep production lines operational and maintaining the ongoing production of the product.
  • Maximize production up-time while maintaining product quality and staff safety.
  • Completes paperwork and any associated tasks related to the production line and coordinates functions with Supervisor, Quality Department, and/or member of Management.
  • Must be able to lead production line leads and work well with others in a team environment.
  • Clear and set-up production fill rooms and pack lines prior to new production run.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards within designated area and throughout the facility.
  • Adhere to all cGMP’s, compliance/regulatory mandates & quality requirements.
  • Perform any required in-process product quality checks and any documentation that is required.
  • Assist in the identification & implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Performs duties as assigned to meet departmental as well as Company goals & objectives.

Moderate to High understanding of machinery and operating principles.

  • Ability to follow both verbal & written instructions including SOP’s & Batch record documentation
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Company Inventory System

Supervisor Responsibility

· Production Line Leads, Production Equipment Operators, and Production Associates

Work Environment

· Industrial, pharmaceutical manufacturing facility

Equipment Used and Physical Demands

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be engaged in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting of product and equipment.

· Maintain the production pace of other team members.

· Operate equipment competently, making any necessary adjustments as needed with little or no assistance.

Expected Hours of Work

· Monday - Friday workweek, 40+ hours per week, with occasional overtime or Saturday production.

Preferred Education and Experience

· High School diploma or equivalency required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

· Bilingual is a plus.
