We are looking for a Production Supervisor who will lead and develop the Production Team, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivery of innovative, reliable solutions. This role is responsible for setting priorities, providing guidance, and fostering an environment where team members can thrive and contribute at their best. The Role
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and people-focused Production Supervisor, centered on Lean practices, to oversee manufacturing operations. This role plays a vital part in driving team performance, fostering a culture of accountability and growth, and leading continuous improvement initiatives in a clean manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must be a hands-on leader who inspires excellence, ensures operational efficiency, champions people’s development, and always has a positive, continuous improvement mindset. We are looking for a leader who inspires, leads by example, and actively promotes change where needed.
Job Responsibilities
People Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of clean manufacturing technicians and operators.
- Conduct regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and coaching sessions to support career growth and skill development
- Build a positive team culture rooted in trust and collaboration, and promote lean practice throughout your team and processes.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure particle counting processes meet quality, safety, and delivery standards.
- Monitor team performance and adjust resources to meet production goals efficiently by robustly driving daily management at Tier 1 production boards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, warehouse, procurement, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues and optimize operations.
Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Champion Lean and Kaizen methodologies to drive process improvements and eliminate waste.
- Facilitate team-based problem-solving sessions and improvement workshops.
- Track and report on improvement initiatives and their impact on key performance indicators.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to GMP, ISO9001, and ISO17025 standards.
- Deploy, train, enforce, and maintain controlled documentation updates to work instructions for building and/or testing products.
- Measure and track product quality data and ensure accurate product process related to quality and CTQ’s are strictly adhered to and followed.
- Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate deviations and implement corrective actions.
Safety & Cleanroom Standards
- Take full ownership and promote a safety-first mindset that ensures compliance with OSHA and internal safety policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and lead incident investigations.
Reporting & Systems
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and team performance.
- Utilize MES/ERP systems to manage production data and inventory.
- Provide clear, actionable reports to leadership on team metrics and improvement progress.
Required Qualifications
- Associates or higher degree in a technical discipline preferred
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in clean manufacturing, preferably in instrumentation or precision environments.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
- Strong knowledge of Lean practice or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO Standards, and cleanroom operations.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- This role primarily operates in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive base salary range: $60,200 - $92,000
- Our compensation philosophy: we offer competitive pay based on market data, including local, national, and industry benchmarks. For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education. Our approach ensures fair pay internally while remaining competitive externally and allows room for growth.
