Job Description

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR - 2nd shift

HOURS: 3:00pm-11:30pm (Monday-Friday)

PAY: $75,000-$85,000

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating production activities with other team members such as leads, quality techs andmaintenance techs

Overseeing operations to ensure the production schedule is attained

Overseeing all departments, with 5 -10 direct reports

Ensure all safety, quality and HR procedures and policies are met

Lead root cause analysis for troubleshooting downtime issues

Scheduling, reporting, and conducting regular visual line checks to ensure all documentation isbeing completed as required

Must complete employee time cards

Leading team members to achieve production targets in a safe and efficient manner

Ensure the plant floor is maintained as neat and orderly

Report/Review any accidents and provide prevention recommendations

Learn all plant operations to lead all operations effectively

Must be able to develop SOPs to train employees

Must complete evaluations on all new team members in a 30-60-90 progression.

Must be able to track OEE/ Efficiency

Must prepare DDS sheets and present information to the team during the daily DDS meetings.

Execute daily direction plan.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

At least 5 years’ experience in a food and/or beverage production/manufacturing environment

At least 3-5 years leading a production team

Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisor role

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures

Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and willingness to work

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Understanding of basic technology of area assigned

Ability to collaborate effectively with others in the spirit of common objectives

Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of salaried and hourly associates is required

Ability to work all shift or extended hours as needed

Knowledge of GMP standards
