The Supervisor is responsible for leading daily operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and efficiency goals. This role provides direct leadership to bakery associates through coaching, training, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The majority of time will be spent on the production floor supporting employees, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Lead daily bakery operations to meet production schedules and performance goals.
Supervise, coach, and develop bakery associates through ongoing feedback and training.
Establish performance expectations and hold employees accountable for results.
Support onboarding, training, and employee development programs.
Address attendance, behavioral, and performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources.
Monitor staffing levels and allocate resources to meet operational demands.
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, USDA, BRC, and workplace safety requirements.
Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that supports employee engagement and accountability.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and production records.
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably within food production or bakery operations
Minimum 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to coach employees, drive accountability, and achieve operational goals
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Experience in food manufacturing
Post-secondary education in Leadership, Business, or a related field
Bilingual English/Spanish
Experience working in USDA, OSHA, GMP, and BRC regulated environments
