Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the production technician teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate production output.
  • Lead and mentor team leads, and production employees.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance metrics, and production updates.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all production activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify and resolve production issues promptly.
  • Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare and present regular production reports to the Production Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.
  • Manage resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and payroll systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
