Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the manufacturing process of our Stave Mill in Medon, TN. This will be a NIGHT shift position. If you have a passion for leadership and a knack for optimizing processes, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff.
• Ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
• Creates a team environment where all team members are encouraged to make a difference in meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues and implement improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance to management.
• Ensures all stave mill operations meet regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA and TTB regulations and takes immediate corrective action when needed to stay in compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in manufacturing or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to changing production needs.
