Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the fabrication
department to ensure production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements are
consistently met. This role leads fabrication personnel, coordinates workflow, monitors
productivity, and works closely with engineering, quality, maintenance, and production teams to
ensure efficient manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of fabrication personnel, including welders,
fabricators, coil winders, and assemblers.
Plan, schedule, and prioritize fabrication work to meet production deadlines.
Ensure products are manufactured according to engineering drawings, specifications, and
quality standards.
Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve production issues and
implement corrective actions.
Ensure accurate production reporting and documentation.
Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development.
Qualifications
3+ years of fabrication or manufacturing experience.
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication, welding processes, machining, and manufacturing
techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
