Production Supervisor – On-Site Recycling Operations

Location: Lafayette, IN

Pay: $24.50/hour | Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM, Monday–Friday)

We’re hiring a Production Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for sorting and recycling materials inside a major manufacturing facility in Lafayette. This role ensures the smooth flow of recyclable materials and scrap removal throughout the plant, directly supporting operational efficiency and sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations for on-site recycling and material handling.

• Lead and manage a team of sorters and handlers on 2nd shift.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.

• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and recycling protocols.

• Track and report on materials processed and removed from production areas.

• Coordinate with the client’s operations team to stay aligned on workflow needs.

• Identify process improvements and coach team members for performance.

• Train new hires and set clear expectations for the shift.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college a plus).

• Experience in a production, recycling, or logistics leadership role.

• Solid communication and team management skills.

• Comfortable working in an active, industrial environment.

• Basic computer skills (email, reporting tools, Microsoft Office).

• Ability to problem-solve and adapt quickly during shift operations.
