Job Overview:

Production Supervisor – 2nd or 3rd Shift

📍 Homer, IN | 💼 Direct-Hire | 💲 $65,000 – $80,000 + Overtime Pay

Aegis is partnered with a manfacturer in the Homer, IN area that's looking to add two Production Supervisors to their team due to growth in business: one opening on each 2nd and 3rd shift. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay, overtime at time-and-a-half, and a chance to grow your career with a stable and well-established manufacturer.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees to hit daily goals and build a strong team culture
  • Keep production on schedule while ensuring the highest quality standards are met
  • Partner with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to keep operations running smoothly
  • Promote a safety-first environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental protocols
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies and implementing Lean/Kaizen initiatives
  • Track and report key production metrics, making sure leadership is always informed

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience (casting or machining a plus)
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong communication and leadership skills—someone who motivates and develops others
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, MRP systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable working in a physically active environment (heat, noise) and open to overtime when needed
  • High school diploma or GED required; degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred
