Summary: Supervise and direct the effective operation of multiple manufacturing production lines in an industrial process by performing the following duties. Supervises, coordinates, and directs the effective operation of multiple manufacturing production lines in an industrial process by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receives work assignments and schedules from Operations manager and schedules from Supply Chain Manager.
- Reviews amounts of materials and supplies required for production lines operation based on production schedules, blend sheets and requisitions materials from storage areas.
- Follows production schedule and blend sheets and effectively communicates to Production Operators and assigns duties.
- Ensure the production line is supplied with necessary tools, equipment, production orders, material, etc.
- Inspects and measures products at critical stages of production to verify conformance to specifications and meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Actively promotes a safe work environment through training and adherence to safety protocols.
- Supervision and direction of production line employees for effective operation of production line including training, daily assignments, daily production goals, required paperwork, safety, etc.
- Demonstrates ability to properly set-up and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner that adheres to company training and safety procedures.
- Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists others in effective and timely resolution. Communicates with Operations Manager on issues relating to production and personnel.
- Evaluation of product at all points on production line to ensure it meets or exceeds quality standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and operations issues and ensure production line efficiencies.
- Timely and accurate completion of production line performance results reporting.
- Report faulty equipment, damages, and other safety hazards to Operations Manager.
