Description

 

  • Provide training to team members, emphasizing safety and quality in all processes.  Maintain cleanliness of production areas.
  • Collaborate with QC to troubleshoot any production or drawing issues, track and report on production progress throughout the day
  • Complete all safety and cleaning audits; respond to incidents and accidents and collaborate with teams to research and deliver correction actions. Deliver weekly toolbox talks and actively work to promote a culture of safety.
  • Drive projects to improve efficiency, quality, safety, reduce waste, and other Plant needs. 
  • Evaluate complexity of pieces and plan manpower needs, start times, pour schedules and any other special requirements required for production of product lines.
  • Attend sales to production turnover meetings and relay any special requirements to the Production Team; Hold production meeting prior to starting new projects to plan for safety, quality, and efficiency during production.
  • Approve timecards, vacation requests, and performance reviews for designated employees.
  • Meet with Plant Manager daily to review goals, KPI’s, current projects, personnel, and prior day production issues.
  • Has deep product knowledge of services and products offered. Identifies and finds ways to improve processes and experiences.
