Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Supervisor to join our team at our facility located in Birmingham, AL, 35209. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our production processes to ensure efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP software, lean manufacturing principles, ISO 9001 certification experience, scheduling, and high-level operations analysis.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production personnel to meet production targets and deadlines
Implement and enforce lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and minimize waste
Utilize ERP software to track and manage production schedules, inventory levels, and order fulfillment
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 certification requirements and maintain necessary documentation
Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues and implement process enhancements
Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications

Proficient in using ERP software for production planning and scheduling
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing them
Prior experience with ISO 9001 certification and maintaining related documentation
Proven ability to effectively schedule production activities to meet customer demands
Excellent analytical skills for high-level operations analysis and problem-solving
Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively supervise and motivate production personnel
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
