Job Description

Aegis has openings with a client of ours in Antioch IL. The company has first and second shift openings currently. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:

Must have:

• A minimum of 3 – 5 years of related experience as a supervisor/lead in a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Strong floor presence – this person will work with their co- Production Supervisor spending 85% of their time on the floor
• Able to hit the ground running who learns quickly, high energy with ability to work in a fast-paced environment & manage a large team
• Drives continuous improvement & team collaboration – Lean, 5S, & can speak in detail on successful projects completed & the impact

Preferred:

• Experience in aluminum, plastics, food, bottling, printing, pharma, consumer goods
• Bi-lingual in English/Spanish

Nice to Have:

• Managing high volume of temp employees

You should be proficient in:

• Continuous Improvement
• Language: Spanish
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• ERP & MRP Systems
• 5S
