Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead production team members to meet safety, quality, and production goals
- Plan and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to meet targets and reduce downtime
- Troubleshoot production issues and equipment failures with minimal disruption
- Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
- Escalate critical issues to leadership in a timely and effective manner
- Lead shift meetings and ensure effective communication across teams
- Maintain and enforce SOPs and ensure employees are properly trained
- Monitor production metrics, downtime, and performance reporting
- Partner with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
- Support labor cost control and approve overtime in collaboration with management
- Manage operating supplies and ensure availability of necessary materials
- Address and support resolution of quality and customer service issues
Required Experience:
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Experience in a production or industrial setting (required)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Willingness to work night shift (required)
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, dust control, and chemical handling (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- SAP experience (preferred)
- Authorized to work legally in the United States.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout the facility for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work around machinery
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as needed
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in environments with dust, noise, chemicals, and varying temperatures
Schedule
Night shift on a rotating 3-1-3 schedule (3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on, 3 days off).
