Production Supervisor

Location: Alamance, NC,

Role purpose

Manages team leaders and operators to ensure efficient manufacturing activities across the plant. This includes production, materials, health & safety, quality control, and all steps along the value stream. The role is critical in driving operational excellence, team development, and alignment with the organization’s broader strategy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and ensure compliance with established systems.
• Develop daily and weekly production plans, including resource allocation.
• Motivate and guide team members to achieve business goals.
• Identify and improve manufacturing processes and methods.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Support quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement.
• Manage work schedules, approve overtime, and allocate resources.
• Drive performance management and team development.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, planning, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in automotive production or manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
