Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Production Specialist to oversee and coordinate manufacturing operations within a dynamic, high-volume, and automated environment. This role is integral to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and a commitment to team development and process optimization.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Oversight:
• Supervise daily production operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficient workflow.
• Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and initiate timely maintenance as needed.
• Ensure production schedules and output goals are consistently met.
Team Leadership:
• Lead, train, and support a team of operators and technicians, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide ongoing coaching, and facilitate professional development.
• Support staffing efforts including recruitment, onboarding, and training to strengthen team capability.
• Resolve personnel concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies and, where applicable, collective bargaining agreements.
Safety and Compliance:
• Promote and enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Respond promptly to safety incidents and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Quality Assurance:
• Ensure product quality standards and specifications are consistently achieved.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to investigate non-conformances and execute root cause analyses.
• Drive quality improvements through implementation of corrective actions and standardization practices.
Production Planning and Reporting:
• Develop and execute shift production plans, prioritizing resources to meet targets.
• Maintain accurate production records, analyze operational data, and prepare shift reports.
• Recommend improvements based on production trends and performance metrics.
Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and act on opportunities to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to refine workflow and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Champion lean manufacturing practices and cost reduction efforts across production lines.
Equipment and Process Management:
• Oversee operational reliability by coordinating equipment repairs and evaluating new technologies.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to optimize throughput and minimize waste.
• Implement process control strategies and troubleshoot deviations effectively.
Professional Development:
• Engage in ongoing professional learning through workshops, industry publications, and peer networking.
• Stay current on innovative manufacturing technologies and best practices.
Key Requirements & Competencies:
• Must currently hold a Senior Lead position at Jinko Solar.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field—or equivalent industry experience.
• Proven experience in a high-volume or automated manufacturing environment.
• Strong team leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Solid foundation in production planning, quality management, and cost control.
• Proficient in interpreting technical documents and using manufacturing software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Additional Competencies:
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex processes and prioritize effectively.
• Experience implementing lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally toward shared objectives.
