Job Description

We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Shop Support Associate to assist with daily shop and production operations. This position will involve working with wood or metal materials, using a tape measure, operating a saw, assisting with cutting and preparation, and supporting general shop needs.

Job Duties:

• Operate saws and assist with cutting wood, metal, molding, and related materials
• Accurately read and use a tape measure
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications
• Assist with material preparation and general production needs
• Move, organize, and stage materials throughout the shop
• Use basic hand tools and shop equipment as trained
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Assist with additional shop duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Previous saw operation experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with wood or metal preferred
• Previous woodworking, millwork, construction, manufacturing, fabrication, or shop experience is a plus
• Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
• Dependable with strong attendance
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Able to work well as part of a team

This is a hands-on shop position for someone comfortable working with tools, measurements, and wood or metal materials.
