What You'll Do:


We're seeking an energetic and passionate Shipping & Production Supervisor to join our growing team in West Palm, FL!


As the Shipping Supervisor you will plan, organize and supervise the delivery function of the plant ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products. You will also manage work assignments and provide/facilitate training related to your area as well as ensuring compliance with Company policies and procedures.
In this role you will work our day shift. Hours/ Days for this role will be Monday- Friday with Saturday’s as required based on production needs.

How You'll Do It:

The 1st shift oversees approximately 10 employees, each assigned to designated operational areas.

Responsibilities include:

    • Preparing and reviewing reports.
    • Creating and managing employee schedules based on workload and staffing needs.
    • Overseeing daily operations on the dock, including truck movement and inventory accuracy.
    • Ensuring correct counts and proper documentation of all materials.
    • Supporting cross‑training efforts across roles, including forklift and pallet jack use.
    • Managing time, workflow planning, and resource allocation.
    • Providing leadership, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
    • Coordinate with the Plant Manager, Production Scheduler, and plant personnel to meet production, shipping, cost, safety, and quality objectives.
    • Oversee daily production and shipping activities to ensure customer orders are completed, staged, and shipped on schedule.
    • Manage labor utilization and departmental resources to maintain cost-effective operations and minimize downtime and overtime.
    • Supervise dock workers and support staff responsible for staging, loading, and unloading freight.
    • Ensure products are properly packaged, labeled, and loaded according to approved patterns to prevent damage during transit and maintain safe truck operations.
    • Coordinate with office and plant teams to ensure product availability, accurate shipping documentation, and on-time deliveries.
    • Track operational and shipping metrics and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure adherence to safety standards, job expectations, and performance goals.




What You'll Bring:

3-5 years related experience in a Lean manufacturing environment in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Attention to detail – ensuring correct labeling, quantities, packaging and documentation
• Adaptability – adjusting to last minute order changes
• Customer Mind-Set – communicating with customers or internal stakeholders regarding shipping concerns
• Problem Solving – quickly resolves delays, inventory discrepancies or carrier issues

Job Factors/Work Environments

Up to 10% travel.
