Essential Function of Role:
Meeting USDA and Company standards, and under the supervision of the Production Scheduling Manager this role is responsible for daily production scheduling for Cooked and Raw value added products, including value added roast and value added portion line, and deboning schedule.
- Works directly with Customer Service Representatives to ensure timely scheduling of product to meet customer demand
- Reviews forecasting. Analyze, report and schedule capacity as it relates to customer demand.
- Maintain Raw commodity sale schedule.
- Develop with other relevant departments schedule for parts packing function.
- Maintain Raw material availability spreadsheet.
- Serves as a support to operations management while fostering a positive team environment.
- Utilize and maintain the demand planning software.
- Developing demand forecasts.
- Reviewing historical sales trends.
- Work directly with Sales to develop and maintain the sales plan and accurate forecasts.
- Schedule forecast review meetings with management on regular basis.
- Analyze and troubleshoot demand related issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree preferred and one to three years of experience in meat/food industry preferred
- Proven ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- High assistance and response level.
- Highly Organized.
- Ability to meet all requirements of the job, including time and attendance expectations and requirements.

- Ability to work in cold wet environment as necessary.
- Use of hands and fingers, sitting and standing, twisting, bending and reaching during the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to operate and use office machines and equipment including telephone, computer, facsimile machine, etc.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.
