Radio Frequency Components (RFC) has a need for a Production Planner and Scheduler at its Andover, MA facility. This position has overall responsibility to manage the master schedule of the wafer manufacturing area to ensure timely delivery of products to the customer, reduce overall cycle time, and create balanced workflow through the factory. This role requires daily interaction with production supervision, manufacturing engineering, production control, and quality.
What You Will Do
Monitor and adjust master schedule with consideration to demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and inventory levels
Coordinate WIP management through the factory to create balanced WIP levels
Assist production supervision with workforce planning and forecasting
Provide regular production performance updates to the management team
Identify and improve flow management in production environment
Create and monitor kanban processes to ensure bottleneck work centers have proper inventory levels
Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience coordinating work assignments using production data.
Manufacturing or Planning experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
Experience working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access) and/or SAP.
