What We Seek...

The Production Scheduler will help to administer, schedule, and organize production timelines of BoxPop projects. The Production Scheduler’s responsibility is to work closely with the Project Management team to achieve project goals and objectives. They will perform various tasks, including maintaining project documentation, schedule build out, and other administrative duties. 


Job Summary and Job Functions

  • Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing and ensuring safety standards and quality standards are maintained.
  • Plans, schedules, or coordinates project activities to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinates work aspects of jobs as delegated by Project Managers.
  • Coordinates with purchasing team to make sure material is onsite when needed.
  • Assists the project managers with proper administration of all necessary agreements and paperwork.
  • Reports to the Project Management team and Executive Vice President of Specialty Contracting on progress and any necessary modifications of plans that seem indicated.
  • Attends project meetings as requested by Assistant Project Managers and/or Project Managers.
  • Assists in the day-to-day activities to ensure projects are scheduled, remain on schedule, and reports any delays or changes in schedule to the Project Management team.
  • Acts on tasks from our internal team to assist with schedule management.

Requirements

  • Ability to navigate in a fast paced and time sensitive environment. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and negotiating skills.
  • Superior computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Salesforce.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to work cooperate and quickly to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • May be required to physically work on jobs from time to time.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Office and production working environments.
  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments. 
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.  
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. 
  • Communicating with others to exchange information. 
  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
  • Performing and assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness work. 
  • Light work that includes moving or adjusting objects up to 20 pounds but occasionally up to 40lbs.
  • Feeling. Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. 
  • Subject to noise. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level.
  • Atmospheric conditions. One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system of the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
