Job Summary
The Production Scheduler establishes, manages, reviews, and maintains the production schedules for the Control Center, Manufacturing, Staging. and Assembly departments. Thus role ensures effective capacity plans, inventories are maintained, and shipments are made on time to meet the customer needs. The Production Scheduler also works with and provides direction to the PIC team members, as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develops and maintains planning schedules for forecasted and accepted projects.
2. Communicates schedule progress with other functional areas on a regular basis.
3. Assists in the resolution of planning discrepancies including machine and labor capacities.
4. Monitors and reports actual output versus the production plan to identify gaps and drive solutions.
5. Maintains capacity plan including number of employees in each department and scheduled versus actual capacity.
6. Works with PIC team members provides direction as needed.
7. Assists PIC team with material roll ups.
9. Assists PIC team with the consolidation of travelers.
10. Assists ERP team as needed.
11. Performs all other duties and responsibilities, as required.

Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university. or one to two years related experience and/or training. or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills
Demonstrated use of intermediate computer operations (basic programming in 3rd and 4th generation languages, relational databases, and operating systems) and intermediate software packages, (word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.)
Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Microsoft Office
Ability to work in multiple Databases
ERP knowledge preferred

Flexibility in hours and schedule may be required.
