Compensation:          Hourly

 

Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to expedite production by organizing and monitoring production schedules. This position is responsible planning and establishing production schedules, monitoring material inventory, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors which affect schedules.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Determines production priorities by checking the master schedule, plant capacities and customer requirements
  2. Resolves scheduling problems by collecting and analyzing information and coordinating solutions
  3. Maintains production database by entering data
  4. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as required
  5. Interacts daily with engineering, sales, production, purchasing and shipping
  6. Maintains inventory and controls implementation and execution
  7. Performs other duties as may be required

Qualifications


Education and/or Experience

 

Requires a high school diploma with 1-2 years proven experience in the field or related area preferred.


Travel

This position requires minimal to no travel

 

Computer Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Demonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systems

 

Other Requirements

  1. Ability to read blueprints preferred
  2. Possess a strong knowledge of manufacturing, scheduling, quality control and material control practices
  3. Strong problem-solving skills
  4. Self-motivated and possesses strong initiative
