NW Industrial Staffing is recruiting for multiple Production Roles across various departments on a Swing Shift for a local Hardwood Wall Panels, Ceilings & Cabinet Components manufacturer to inspect finished and unfinished panels - lots of room for growth with this company!!

Positions that are currently available:

Putty: Apply putty to panels fixing any flaws in the panel. Squeeze putty or wood filler into holes, cracks, and gaps using hand-held pneumatic putty guns or automatic putty-applying machines. Visually examine each wood panel or veneer sheet for natural flaws or machining defects. Reject or mark boards with severe defects so they can be sent back to earlier milling or sanding stations.

Dryer: Feed panels into dryer. Feed panels manually or by operating conveyors and heavy equipment into the dryer uniformly to prevent jams or clogs. Control machine settings, monitor temperature and pressure gauges, and ensure the product is dry to precise specifications.

Banding: Band loads of panels together, operate automated or manual banding machines to tightly wrap bundles of materials, Place protective boards, wrapping, or spacers around the products before applying tension to the straps. Accurately measure, cut, seal, and tag finished bundles with proper identification and shipping information. Assist the primary mill or machine operators with routine equipment adjustments, part changes (like roll or raft changes), and cleaning the line.

Grader: Flip panels, Grade for panel defects - MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE GRADING, enter information into computer system, ability to read and comprehend load tickets & daily scheduling lists, Break line feeders & graders as well as prefinish forklift as needed

JOB DETAILS

* Location: Eugene, OR 97402

* Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:30pm-1am - OT on Fridays as needed

* Pay Rate: $20.75/h+$.40/h shift differential

* Drug Screen NOT including THC
