Description

The position of Production Receiver is responsible for receiving activities with ISO established policies while maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment. This position must work well with others in a team setting to deliver high performance results. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform daily receiving activities, verify counts, put-away stock, replenish and organize, as well as picking activities. 
• Assist other areas as required. 
• Maintain an orderly and safe environment.
• Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines. 
• Perform and complete all related Lean/5S objectives. 
• ISO general knowledge. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: include the following.

High School diploma or equivalent, minimum 3 years related experience, equipment certification. 

SKILLS:

Ability to work within the Team environment to accomplish specified goals.

Must understand handling, packaging, delivery systems and functions.

Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.

Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

Experience with RF scanners

Ability to operate reach truck, forklifts, pallet jacks and other related material-handling equipment.

DESIRED TRAITS AND CHARACTERISTICS:

Experience with Lean, Six sigma and ISO 9001-2015.

Desire to work in a fast-paced and energetic warehouse.

Accurate, thorough and efficient. 

Excellent time management skills.

Willingness to work flexible hour workweeks, including weekends, nights and holidays.

Desire and willingness to seek out problems and drive permanent resolution.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Forklift; Reach truck and Order picker general certification.
